Eating Disorders or Intestinal Disorders can occur in both men and women at any age, but this disorder is more common in young people. In this disorder, the person is more concerned about food and according to his body such as weight loss or body size and starts eating more food or the person eats less food. Due to which the risk of death increases in the life of a person.

Symptoms of Eating Disorder:-

There are many symptoms of an eating disorder that can be easily identified and treated on the advice of a doctor in time. Following are all the symptoms of an eating disorder.

1 Due to overeating and not eating, the bodyweight of a person becomes very high or very low.

2. Due to this disorder, the person starts feeling tired, irritable, dizzy, etc.

3. The person thinks more about their body size and weight.


Type of Eating Disorder:-

There are several types of eating disorders. The problem of eating disorders can vary from person to person. It follows all types of eating disorders.

1. Overeating disorder:

When a person starts eating more food and does not control the food then the person starts having more eating disorders or eating disorders. People suffering from this disorder eat more food even when they are not hungry, after which they start having related problems like restlessness, nausea.

 2. Bulimia disorder:

A person suffering from bulimia disorder starts eating more at short intervals or starts eating more frequently. Due to this risk or harmful situation starts arising in the life of the person.

3. Anorexia disorder:

A person suffering from this disorder eats less food or even goes hungry many times to lose weight. Due to which the chances of death start increasing. People suffering from this use exercise, eating less, etc. to lose weight and are worried about their weight.

Causes of Eating Disorder

Genetic causes:

 A person starts eating more due to a genetic reason which increases the risk of food disorder.

 Stress:

When a person is suffering from stress due to other reasons, he does not eat regularly which increases the chances of having a food disorder or the person gets a food disorder or an eating disorder.

4. Dieting to lose weight:

When a person gains weight, he starts dieting to lose weight. Which includes reducing food, staying hungry at any time, etc. Due to this also the possibility of food disorder remains.

Treatment of Eating Disorder:-

1. Eating a healthy diet:

One should have a healthy diet or food every day and should have regular mealtime and physical activity each day so that the person stays healthy and the problem of food disorder is also removed.

Use of drugs:

A person suffering from an eating disorder should use medicines on the advice of a doctor. Doctors prescribe medications according to the type of eating disorder which helps in controlling the eating disorder and also cures nausea and vomiting after eating too much.

Family therapy:

The help of a family member is taken to take care of a person or an adult suffering from an eating disorder. This is called family therapy or family-based therapy. It asks family members to take care of people suffering from eating disorders, to eat regularly, to maintain a healthy weight. This changes the routine of the person suffering from food disorder and the problem of food disorder starts to go away.

The problem of eating disorders affects both men and women, but there are many ways to avoid it, such as eating regularly, eating a healthy diet, etc. By incorporating all these into the lifestyle, eating disorders can be avoided. If the condition becomes serious due to an eating disorder, then on the advice of a doctor, take treatment and medicines so that this disorder can be removed.
