DIABETES GUIDE-CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OPTIONS

Diabetes is one of the silent killer disorders. Diabetes is a health problem that has no symptoms at first. Diabetes is a lifestyle disorder. Nowadays the number of diabetics is increasing day by day.

Diabetes reduces the body's supply of insulin to the pancreas. This causes the blood glucose level to rise uncontrollably.

The amount of blood sugar in the body, which we call glucose, increases excessively. Glucose gives energy to the body. Glucose is made from the food we eat.  This health condition is called diabetes. Insulin is a hormone that is secreted by the digestive tract. The function of hormones is to produce energy from the food eaten. However, diabetes interferes with the production of insulin. There are four main types of diabetes:

1 - Type 1 Diabetes

There are different types of Diabetes. In one type of diabetes, insulin production is reduced or stopped completely. Although the incidence of diabetes is low, in some cases it is more likely to occur. It is most commonly diagnosed in children between the ages of twelve and twenty-five.

2 - Type 2 Diabetes

There is various type of diabetes. From one of them. People with diabetes have high blood sugar levels that are difficult to control. In this type of diabetes, the body cannot make the right amount of insulin

3 - Pre Diabetes

You can get rid of this diabetes by making good lifestyle changes and eating a balanced diet. In Pre type of diabetes, the blood level in the body rises slightly but it is not high. So it does not mean that you are diabetic at all. However, it can be said to be a precursor to diabetes.

4 - Gestational Diabetes

In Gestational diabetes condition in which a woman's blood sugar level rises during pregnancy. It is usually diagnosed in the later stages of pregnancy and often occurs in women who have not had diabetes before. It occurs in about 4% of pregnancies.

Causes of Diabetes:

1.         Since diabetes is a hereditary disease if your parents have diabetes, you are at increased risk of developing diabetes.

2.         Excessive consumption of tea, cold drinks, or salty foods

3.         Improper diet such as fast food, packed food

4.         Use Smoking or tobacco.

5.         Excessive medication during pregnancy

Diabetes Symptoms:

As blood sugar levels rise, diabetics become more irritable. Feeling thirsty for maximum water. Injury to the body does not heal quickly.

•           Weight gain.

•           Itchy skin or skin problems.

•           Numbness or tingling in the limbs.

•           Feeling very hungry.

•           Constant dry mouth, throat.

•           Sudden weight loss.

•           Occurrence of eye disorders.

•           Black scars on the neck, or armpits.

How to Control Diabetes:

Diabetes can be controlled by making small changes in your daily lifestyle. Try these home remedies instead of taking bitter pills every day to control diabetes

1 Flaxseed

Flaxseed contains fiber which helps in digestion and helps in the proper absorption of fats and sugars. Eating flaxseed by diabetics reduces post-meal sugar levels by about 28 percent.

2 Basil Leaves

A natural solution for Diabetes is Basil Leaves. Basil leaves contain antioxidants and oils that are essential for diabetes. Also, the antioxidants in basil leaves help control stress. It helps in the growth of eugenol, methyl eugenol, and cariapholin in the body. These factors regulate the function of pancreatic beta cells and increase insulin sensitivity.

3 Green Tea -

Green tea is unaffordable and is rich in polyphenols. The antioxidant and hypoglycemic properties of polyphenols help control blood sugar and improve the function of insulin.

4 Bitter Gourd
